Million Dollar Spaghetti Recipe

To start preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Then prepare the spaghetti sauce recipe. In a large frying pan, brown the ground beef over medium high heat and break up the meat into chunks with a spatula. Than drain off any excess grease. Add in the grated onion and cook for a couple more minutes. Then add the oregano and salt. Then cook while stirring for a few more minutes until the onions begin to brown. Then add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Then add the crushed tomatoes, butter, and sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil and reduce the heat to low and simmer for another 10 minutes. Then remove from heat and stir in the olive oil and chopped basil. Season with some salt and pepper to taste. Then cook the noodles according to the package directions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
Then in a medium bowl combine the cream cheese, cottage cheese, and sour cream, until they are well blended. Then put about 4 thin slices of butter onto the bottom of a 9-inch by 13-inch baking pan. Then place half of the spaghetti noodles on top of the butter slices. Then spread the cream cheese mixture evenly overtop of the noodles. Then place the remaining pasta noodles over the cream cheese mixture and top with some more slices of butter. Then place the spaghetti sauce mixture over the top of the pasta noodles and butter.
